Halted March

Right after I trumpeted my victory over Rancid the Raccoon at Level 173, I progressed on without much problems. Then I hit a snag at Level 181. It’s one tough challenge but patience and strategy resulted in victory albeit shortlived! Boo hoo…

I now face the dastardly annoying rabbit again at Level 182. It would sneak up and snatch the carrots before I could attempt to accumulate the 24 carrots required! Ugh… looks like I am facing a halted march. Maybe I should pray for tickets to come for my Candy Crush and get back to crushing some candies for a change.

Rancid the Raccoon Reeks!

Yes, Rancid the raccoon in Farm Heroes Saga reeks. It took me the longest thus far to overcome Level 173. Even with magic beans, I could not do it but patiently, with some strategizing and wit, I finally beat the nasty raccoon! Onwards I march in my farming quest.

They Must Have Heard Me

Right after I complained and wrote about the problems I was facing in Farm Heroes Saga, King.com came up with an update! Bwahahaha… They heard me or must have for this new version proves to be good and okay! I can launch the game and play without a hitch. Thank you!

Farm Under Seige!

Farm Heroes Saga had an update recently for the iPad and it’s crappy. Something is not right as my iPad Mini has become so unstable with this version, it keeps crashing. The situation has gotten worse from the initial launch and click of the level I am at before crashing to simply just crash upon launch. Eeesh. Annoying! I have not tended my farm on my iPad for two consecutive days already.

So yeah, my farm is under seige and King.com had better take note of this and fix it soon. Otherwise, the happy looking cropsies will not be happy with my absence from the farm. I could try to play in Facebook at the office, but I have to work too… sometimes.

I Feel So Nasty

It’s amazing what nastiness can lead to. Right after I spewed strong words of disdain for the darn rabbit in Farm Heroes Saga, I crossed Level 123! If I had known this can work, I should have vented earlier then I would not be subjected to such frustration the past few days, or weeks I should say.

But let’s see how long this lasts. Level 124 is no easy peasy quest too. I may feel frustration and resort to nastiness yet again. We shall see…

It’s So Weird

What do you know? Right after I swore off Candy Crush, declaring to just give up, stop playing, call it quits, the app updated to the Sour Salon chapter on the iPad, to be the same as Facebook on the laptop. Eeesh.

Here’s the weird thing: on the iPad, I see my avatar still stuck at Level 500 yet I am able to play beyond Level 500 because technically I have reached 519 in Facebook on the laptop. Although I have all the stars in the Ice Cream Caves chapter after Meringue Moor, the chapter graphic just does not show on the iPad, it’s a blur. So weird.

And being at Level 519 in Sour Salon on the iPad, I can actually continue what I was doing on the laptop prior to the update, and that is to play on instead of just going with my earlier resolution a day before, which is to just give up. It’s so weird. And without frustration, I have actually progressed onto Level 530, the end of Sour Salon!!! I don’t know how to explain but the pictures say it all…

Hate is a Very Strong Word

When the girls were young, I always taught them the proper usage and choice of words when voicing out their feelings. ‘Hate’ used to be a word in their vocabulary, without totally understanding its true meaning; therefore they were using it to express themselves freely and vocally like there’s no tomorrow on everything possible: “I hate this color!”, “I hate celery!”, “I hate this cartoon!” “I hate this” “I hate that” and so on.

I must admit I also use the word occasionally then. But the choice is really too strong and can be misinterpreted when hurled so freely without care for the feelings of others; so over time, we learnt to correct ourselves and use an alternative that is less strong yet gets the message across.

But lately, I find myself thinking and on the verge of uttering this word when it comes to playing my Farm Heroes Saga. Not giving any consideration whatsoever to the feelings of the annoying rabbit, murderous thoughts cross my mind often, short of throwing my iPad on the floor! Oh my God, I tell you… that aggravating rabbit in Level 123! Ugh. What can I say?

I *blip* the darn rabbit.

Unthinkable Helps

Two weeks ago I resorted to the unthinkable where I made the hubby, M1 and even Roo play Farm Heroes Saga twice simply to send me tickets to the next level. Well, I needed the tickets again to go beyond Level 115 and the family came to the rescue!

As soon as I completed 115 and without inconveniencing friends, a quick prompt to the three of them and dutifully, they came forth with my instant tickets! I am now at Level 123.

Candies Gone Bad

As if my being irked is not enough, the Candy Crush app on my iPad Mini has gone haywire yesterday to annoy me even further! Right after launching the game, after only one two swipes of the candies, the app quits unexpectedly!

What’s going on? I would relaunch, close the app, shut down my iPad and start all over only for it quit on me, again and again. This went on for four times in one attempt, wasting a Daily Booster spin and four precious lives unnecessarily. Even after a lengthy interval, the same occurred – quitting midway of a candy crush.

It was as if the candies have gone bad and conspired to aggravate me, pretty much like those mean cropsies in Farm Heroes Saga.

Thank goodness, the conspiracy was only temporary during the day and not when I was home and in bed ready to be an obsessed monster again. If it went on, King.com had better fix it soon and fast or else it’ll not just be a case of candies gone bad but death of the candies instead – I will give up, queasy or not.

I Don’t Believe This!

Candy Crush finally updated on the iPad last week but to my horror, I find myself still stuck at Level 500! I don’t believe this. Didn’t I complete until Level 515 on the laptop? Why the discrepancy on different devices?

On the laptop I was at Level 515 as of Dec 31st last year and have progressed to Level 518 but on my iPad, it is still showing me at Level 500 despite all those stars achieved in the chapter beyond…

Unbelievable. King.com, you need to check your updates.
