A Farmer I am Not

My virtual games have been progressing well except for Farm Heroes. I am so not a farmer. After so long, I find myself frustratingly stuck at Level 881. Sigh… why?

The candy and monster games have been good with much movements the past few days. Currently sitting at Level 1680 for Candy Crush, Level 753 for Soda and Level 393 for Monster Busters. I even completed Hexa Blast, sitting at 1175, awaiting new levels to open up but this one…sigh again.

Then miracles of miracles happened right after I jot down my frustrations. I passed Level 881 by resorting to using all my tools especially the tractor because the moment presented itself. If I didn’t do it now, I would be stuck forever as this thought crossed my mind. So four tractors were used…

Joy was short lived after that as I find myself stalled again at Level 883. I am so not a farmer.

Taking Forever

My virtual games have been taking forever to progress. Sidetracked by travel, golf and hard levels, I was at Level 875 for the longest time for Farm Heroes. Bordering on giving up, I finally crossed it when a window to progress came around. Phew. So a farmer I shall continue to be.

As for the candies, it’s slowly but surely. Currently, at Level 1643 for Candy Crush and Level 729 for Soda and somewhere up there for both Monster Busters, I’ve lost track. This weekend I won’t be attempting any of these because I am participating in my Club’s two-day golf Annual Championship under the Ladies category. Hoping there won’t be wonky weather to deal with.

A Surprise

It is nice when some games you play remembers it’s your birthday and surprises you with a little present! Both Monster Busters and Hexa Blast gave me some coins and more importantly, a week of free play to bust some monsters. Yes, a week! How cool is that? Anyway, yay to it, I am a monster buster this whole week, forget them candies and farm animals.

The power of technology was at its best on this special day. There were wishes from friends and family, near and far in WhatsApp and Facebook, likes and loves for the Facebook birthday postings, SMSes from services and people in my life and even my district politician (how significant he is in my life I don’t know!) and phone calls from family. Don’t forget the wishes in person that comes with bear hugs! I felt like a celebrity short of signing autographs. I think I would have added an extra wrinkle or two if I grinned anymore that I already had!

But closer to the heart, the significant day was filled with doing things I enjoy – golf with friends, followed by my virtual games as I couldn’t nap upon reaching home (being Queen for the day does not necessitate one to go in the office), then being with true friends and family for dinner, and receiving a lovely and poignant birthday card in the mail from my M1, halfway across the world.

Sometimes there are no words that can describe the depths of these actions but simply being in the moment – absorbing, remembering and being thankful for such wonderfulness that I am surrounded with. Thank you all, you know who you are to make this another bookmark in my memory bank. Maybe I don’t have to stay forever 38!

Guess I Have to Wait

I have finally played until the end of another game, Monster Busters Hexa Blast. Just like my earlier candy crushing days being ahead for Candy Crush, I was at it faster than the app being updated.

So what do I do besides waiting for the update for Hexa Blast? I play the original Monster Busters! But I hope my wait won’t be too long.

Progress and Not

Things are somewhat moving for my virtual games. While Candy Crush has progressed on to Level 1541 and Monster Busters at Level 998, Farm Heroes has been slow, still at Level 860 and Soda is stuck at Level 660. Sigh. Every now and then I sneak in a game in the office. Shh…

I am glad that I gave up the other two King.com games. As it is nowadays, I hardly play Piano Tiles too. Too many games to manage but then again, I am waiting for Piano Tiles to update; I am at Level 46.

Oh No! Stuck Again

For the first time, my progress for my two games, Candy Crush and Candy Crush Soda, have been halted on the iPad. I have reached the end of both games and no further chapters have appeared yet. 

So I play Candy Crush on the laptop in Facebook (at Level 1082 now). As for Soda in Facebook on the laptop, the game appears to stop at Level 435 but I discovered otherwise. The new chapter automatically opened up the minute I completed the level. Phew.

Nonetheless, what do I do if faced with such a moment?

I play Hexa Blast Monster Busters! Only because I can’t get pass Level 776 for my Farm Heroes and I’ve lost the will to battle being a zookeeper if I don’t fancy rescuing Honey Bears or gobbling up candies.
