Level 469 of Farm Heroes has been equally frustrating besides Level 677 of Candy Crush. Don’t be deceived by the cute baaing sheeps that you have to herd to the hay. It’s just very challenging.
I never realized it but I have been stuck here for quite sometime until last night. Using up most of the farm equipment to lure the last sheep in, I finally managed. But joy is short lived as always because the next hurdle is Rancid, at Level 471 after bypassing the fairly easy Level 470. Sigh…
I have forgotten how wonderful it is to read when my being glued to my games on the iPad consumes much of my free time. The author, Jennifer Probst, is enjoyable and creates vivid imagination with her style of story-telling! In two days, I have finished one book already and onto the second read.
Being stuck at Level 440 in Farm Heroes and Candy Crush turned out to be a blessing in disguise. For two days, I totally left my games, partly to enjoy the book I am reading and also to focus my energy on the book project that I am working on. When I went back to tackle Farm Heroes, taking a short break from reading, it was with renewed determination and I did it! Now, I face my nemesis, Rancid, at Level 441.
And the last two days, Candy Crush released its new chapter Fizzy Falls on Facebook. But this time, it required tickets for me progressed on from Glazed Grove to it; so I had to patiently wait for my fellow candy crushers to help me. And help they did. Thanks!
I guess reading has been good for I accomplished a lot. Even at work, the book project has progressed on smoothly. And… and… in Zookeeper Battle, I broke into the top ten thousand world ranking!!! Best ever position: 7938. A big yay to all these.
I think I am experiencing candy withdrawal again! Ever since I completed Wafer Windmill on the laptop and I cannot ask for tickets to go on, I noticed a monster in me has surfaced. On top of feeling irritable, I am also feeling somewhat lost, as if I don’t know what to do! I am usually not like this.
Every morning I open the laptop with hopes that I can click on the ticket platform for help, nothing happens. Aargh… frustration.
And to add salt to the wound (my anguish), Rancid has upped his ante and at his best in Farm Heroes to aggravate me at Level 367. He stumped me at Level 352 and I had to utilize the farm equipments (the plus one, the digger, tractor and farm dog) to beat him. But now, even with farm equipments to aid me, it is not happening, aargh… more frustration!
And this morning, Candy Crush finally updated for the iPad. Triple dose of salt to my woes, this update is of no use to me because all it does is just have my avatar, sitting at 590 previously to leap-frog to Level 605, the end of the chapter! Lately I am always one step ahead in the game before the updates and any updates has rendered my progress useless as I am unable to crush any candies to move forth.
So, the anguish and frustration remains. Aargh…
