It’s Pouring More than Cats and Dogs

4 Oct

I am so glad we stopped at Jeseao, number 1 Italian and Best Indian food restaurant, for that beer. It’s pouring like crazy! I think the three little umbrellas that we have isn’t enough to save us from being drenched.

Since it’s so heavy, might as well order up another beer! This time, it’s a Singha.

What a Pleasant Surprise!

21 Mar

Despite the early wake up call, the energy and spirits were high. Breakfast was sumptuous and satisfying. Onwards then to the next golf course! Alpine Golf Club was a pleasant surprise from Inthanon. Lush and green, there was no indication of drought and lack of water. It was literally green everywhere.

We had plenty of fun on top of an enjoyable round of golf. Well, with a chip in for a birdie for a highlight of my game (and there were two other birdies today from the others), the game ended in good spirits for all. Totally deserved the Singha beer at the clubhouse during lunch!

After lunch at Alpine, we head on to check in at Holiday Inn. A quick rest and a massage awaits us all…

I Survived Shopping!

9 Nov

Amazingly, I survived three hours at Thaniya Plaza. I even bought some stuff, mostly golf related things but I must admit by 5.30pm, I was thirsty for a cold drink and joined the two gentlemen from our group for several refreshing Singha draught.

By seven, everyone had a bag or two or more in their hands. With purchases made and hearts contented, we wanted to make our way to Mango Tree. But a wrong turn led us to the Boys of Bangkok street. Mmm…

Bars and pretty boys await. Uh-huh, I think it’s not the place in mind!

Finally we found Mango Tree. Too tired and hungry, I did not take any pictures of the food.

After dinner, fueled and reenergized, the big debate was whether to have a massage before a shower or vice versa. Yes, we are all having a good time to cap the day.

In the end, I think nobody went for a massage. Too tired and contented, it’s time to pack and reset the mind to go home.
