One Last Char Koay Teow!

2 Feb

We went in search for one last Char Koay Teow. I wouldn’t say ridiculous but when you are on a food trail, you have to go to extremes to satisfy the urge.

But it had to be along the way and convenient for us when we leave the island. So we ended up going to the Foodcourt in Sunshine Square at Bayan Baru. After the meal, it was just an easy drive towards the second Penang Bridge, the longest bridge in Southeast Asia.

The last Char Koay Teow was good, according to the girls. We also had Curry Fish Head and Bak Kut Teh. Satisfied and contented with this successful gastronomic adventure, we look forward to another foodie adventure in the near future!

Penang: Goodbye

2 Feb

Today’s our last day in the island city. We loved it! Hubby’s sister has been a great host; the sights we saw were cool and the food we ate were totally awesome and authentic.

I am glad we took this time to spend some quality time with the girls. Pretty soon we won’t have such occasions anymore; so any opportunity that arises, we ought to take it.

We woke up late this morning, skipped breakfast but planned for another round of Char Koay Teow before we make our way to the new second link to head back home.

Until our next trip, thanks Penang!
