What to Do Besides Eat

1 Feb

This trip to Penang, we actually saw more and ate more things than before. Previously it has always been only the resort with its pool, beach and sun; this time it’s different food and sights that we never put a priority to.

Today after brunch, we visited the 3D Museum. It was cool. With thematic paintings cleverly spread out in the premise, we saw many people creatively posed to make an interesting composition. We did our fare share of posing too, I must admit.

All in all, our three days in Penang has been wonderful. Tonight we meet hubby’s old college mate for yet another meal!

I dread my weighing scale complaining when I get home and step on it. Oh well, I am on holiday. Eat well and live well.

Late Lunch

1 Feb

We had more desert than a real lunch: Assam Laksa, Ice Kacang with Nutmeg, Cendul and Fried Popiah.

Char Koay Teow

1 Feb

We stopped at New World Park for brunch. Undecided with the choices available, we ended up ordering several variations of Char Koay Teow.

From the normal, there was also no chili, less chili and with duck egg instead. We actually also ordered Curry Mee, Tee Nya Kuih and Chai Kueh. So many orders?

Well, hubby’s sister and parents were with us.

Satisfying until the next meal! Good start to the day.

Penang: Day 3

1 Feb

We woke up a little later than yesterday. I suspect everyone is still feeling very full from yesterday’s food intake so breakfast this morning is not a priority.

Last night, we actually went and sat down at Chatime, ordered a drink and got down to being anti-social, be on our devices to jump onto the internet. I, of course, had to play some games. Which was a good thing because I made progress for my Candy Crush! Made it passed 789 and now at 796.

Anyway, we are thinking more of brunch and Char Koay Teow, Assam Laksa and Cendol are in the list to savor shortly.
